Tuition, Makeup and other policies

FEES:
Fees due on the first class of each month for the entire month(4 classes per month). If you join classes later than the first week of the month, tuition will be prorated for the first month. Prorating for family vacations or emergencies may be done once a year per student. There is a one time registration fee of $40.00 per student. If fees is not paid at first class of the month please add 10.00 as late fees. 

MAKE UP POLICY:
One make up class is allowed per month if notifyed before 24 hours with a text to 713-540-6310. We encourage our students to attend all classes according to their schedule. Please, do not attend or send children to makeup class without prior confirmation via Text 713-540-6310 we have limted seats and we do not like to disappoint children. Make up classes can only be taken if the student is paid/enrolled in that month. Makeup class cannot be substituted for regular class. Makeup class expires 30 days from the absence.

REGISTRATION AND INFO:
We have limited seating. Admissions are at the discretion of Kalabharati. Minimum age children 5 1/2 years.    Register Now
Parents or non-kalabharati students are not allowed in the premisis during class time. Please drop off and pick up promptly. If you need to talk to the teacher wait till the end of the class.(we will have a 5-10 minute gap between classes). ƒWe have found texting to be a very effective method of communication. Please do not call during class time, unless it is an emergency.

No recording either video or audio is allowed in the classrooms,  the teacher sends a recording occasionally if and when needed.

ART CLASS SUPPLIES:
All basic supplies except canvas and sketch book are provided in the classes. Bulk canvas can be purchased at the session. Special art like Tanjore Art and Doll (porcelain and barbie) supplies are not included in basic art class supplies.

AWARDS PROGRAM FEE:
We have awards program once a year fee $25.00 per student. All art and music students participate in this happy event.  This is a great opportunity for students to show off their talents and progress. We are proud of every student!. All students participate and celebrate! 

DRESS CODE:
Art Class: Any clothing that is ok if paint gets on.
Music Class: No short skirts or shorts please. Please bring a shawl to put on your knees if you are not wearing traditional Indian outfits.

MUSIC PRELIMINARY CLASS:
All music instruments, bhajans and vedic chanting students start off as private classes till they are ready to catch up with the group at the discretion of Kalabharati. Preliminary classes are tailored to the needs and abilities of the student.

WORK IN PROGRES:
All work in progress stays in art school. Once the art is completed it comes home with the student. Send a canvas with the student to the next class. If you wish to receive your work in progress when you discontinue art classes please inform us two weeks before. If you discontinue art classes without 2 weeks notification, you will not receive your work in progress.
