ENROLL IN ARTS AND MUSIC CLASSES:

If you like join your child (5 and half years – 17) in art or music class please click on the button and register. No prior experience necessary . We have no openings for adults in art or music at this time. If you like to contact please WhatsApp +1 713 540 6310. We have rolling classes so you can join them any time.


Steps to Register in Art or Music lessons

ART:
1. Submit form,
2. Send zelle registration fee 713 540 6310 $40
3. send a WhatsApp request for Friday 5PM or Sat 1PM session. Sessions are 1 1/2 hours long. We will send you acceptance message. We are in Sugarland in front of Sartartia Middle School, address will be sent to you once you are accepted to Friday or Saturday session.
MUSIC:
1. Submit form
2. Send WhatsApp message to 713 540 6310 about your child and what you are interested to learn. We might call for one on one sessions to catch them up to a group class. We have small groups max 5 to a group. If you have prior experience in Carnatic music we will asses you in the first class to see which group you fit in.

Art – FAQ

1.  What is the minimum age for art class?
We take children 5 1/2 till 17. We have no adult art classes at this time.

2. Can I join my child in art classes without any prior experience?
Yes, we encourage both skilled and non-skilled, because we pick them up from where they are and guide them.

3. What supplies to bring to the first class?
Nothing needs to be brought to first class, so relax and come to class. All supplies are provided.

4. How long are art classes?
Art class is one and half hour. Last 10mts for winding up, cleanup. Please pick up children on time.

5. What are art class sessions?
Attend only your registered session, please do not show up at any session without prior approval via WhatsApp message to 713-540-6310

6. Work in progress/special art
All work in progress stays back. Once the art is completed it comes home with the student. After 10 techniques are done, they have a test and are promoted to Special art. Fee increases by $20.

Music – FAQ

  1. I do not have instrument, can I start lessons?
    Yes, you can start lessons, veena can be ordered before we start the first class, veena comes to your door step withing 1 week or 10 days.
    If you are learning Guitar or Keyboard, we help you purchase from local store, so you can have it for your first class.
  2. Do I need to bring my instrument to the class every time?
    If you are learning Guitar and keyboard you need to bring to class. If you are learning Veena you do not need to bring veena because it might damage your veena. We have veenas here for you to play.
  3. I have no prior music experience, can I learn carnatic music?
    You are coming to the class to learn, you do not need to know music. If you registered for vocal, you can also learn an instrument for free so you can do vocal with your own instrument as your support or backup.
  4. If I miss a class can I deduct from fees?
    If you miss a class, you can make up if you can, else we help you catch up in the next class. No refunds of no show classes will be given.

Fees is due at the first of each month for both art and music. If you are paying at 2nd class please add 10 dollars as late fee. A month has 4 weeks, if there is a fifth week – it is no class day.
