CARNATIC MUSIC:
We teach Indian Classical music Carnatic style in vocal, veena, guitar, harmonium and keyboard. Vocal is taught along with all instruments. We allow vocal students to choose one instrument to assist their vocal cord training. It is proven that instrument makes it easy for children to progress fast and accurately.
Acquiring instrument:
Once you are registered we help you acquire the instrument and send you music notes to print.
Lesson material:
We provide all lesson materials for music lessons, you need to print and put in sheet protectors in a 3 ring binder to the first class.
How long are the classes?
All music classes are 45 minutes long.
Class timing:
Depending on the level class timings vary, and there are more than one for each level. So we fix class timings according to student’s convenience and session timings
How many classes a week? How many classes a month?
One class a week. 4 classes a month, if there is a 5th week, that is a no class day.
What to bring for the first class?
Bring kids dressed in causal comfortable to be able to sit on the floor. All dresses to have pants under. Boys and girls if wearing western outfit, bring a shawl to cover the knees.
Fees:
Fees is due at the beginning of every month. First month will be prorated. If not paid there is late fees of 10 dollars to be added.
Siblings:
Siblings that are not enrolled in art classes are not allowed in the session.
Make up policy: If you miss a group class, we help student catch up with the class at the beginning of the next class.
No refund of class fee is given for no show classes. We understand vacations, we will try to work with the student. If we miss a class for any reason, we will make it up at student’s convenience.
